Dear Neighbors:
In the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic and economic crisis, we at Community Christmas are doing our best to plan so that we can help Oglethorpe County children living in poverty, and keep our volunteers, donors, and recipient families safe.  

We continue to be committed to carefully interviewing applicants for assistance to be sure all donations are used in a responsible way. Instead of our usual wish lists, however, we will be allocating funds for more basic needs, such as rent and utilities this year. Also, we will have a toy give-away for those families with elementary and younger-aged children using toys from

Toys-for-Tots and other toy collections.

Our hope is this will help ensure children have a roof over their heads and water, lights, and heat. The needs our families are facing are greater than ever. Your prayers are needed. And, if you are able to give financially, know that any amount you can donate is appreciated and will help.
