Dear Neighbors:
As the Covid 19 pandemic continues, we at Community Christmas are doing our best to help Oglethorpe County children living in poverty, and keep our volunteers, donors, and recipient families safe.

We continue to be committed to carefully interviewing applicants for assistance to be sure all donations are used in a responsible way. Instead of our usual wish lists, however, we will be allocating funds for more basic needs, such as rent and utilities again this year. Also, we will have a toy give-away using toys from Toys-for-Tots and other toy collections.

Our hope is this will help ensure children have a roof over their heads and water, lights, and heat, along with some Christmas gifts. Your prayers are needed. And, if you are able to give financially, know that any amount you can donate is appreciated and will help. Donations of toys and items for teens are also welcomed. Please click on the calendar and donate buttons for more info. Your continued support is so appreciated.

Thanks to neighbors like you, in
2020, Community Christmas provided
Christmas gifts and utilities and housing assistance totaling over $84,000 to 399 children from over 170 Oglethorpe County families.

Our overhead was 1% and was for PayPal fees, postage, State of Georgia incorporation fee, Charity Tracker dues, and paper and envelopes.  We are an all-volunteer non-profit organization registered with the State of Georgia and the Internal Revenue Service, and have been serving children living in Oglethorpe County since 1996.
